Principal Engineer (Computational Software /Firmware R&D) (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Develop models and algorithms with a relatively high level of computational complexity, particularly for example pattern matching or signal recognition software/firmware
- Responsible for statistical analysis to test the effectiveness of the algorithm
Requirements:
- At least a Degree / Masters or PhD Degree in engineering or science field
- A minimum of five years relevant working experience
- Candidates with the relevant experience will be preferred:
- Strong analytical and mathematical background required, and a degree in a mathematical field, such as Applied Mathematics or Physics would be an advantage.
- Experience operating electronic equipment (such as oscilloscopes) and knowledge of electronics would be an advantage.
- Able to independently solve mathematical problems and develop computational software programs
- Proficient in programming in at least one language such as C or C++
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- A responsible, self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful individual with strong analytical, organizational, leadership skills and strong communication skills
- Positive work attitude and good team player
- 5 days work week
- Singaporean/ PR holders / EP Holders / Foreigners eligible
