Google Test Local Search in China
Via Pacific Epoch, Google is testing local search in China at bendi.google.com.
[Google Bendi] is similar to the English version of Google map and local search services. Google‘s Chinese local search service includes maps for 77 cities and information on businesses and services for over 100 cities. Beijing based online map company Mapabc.com provides the maps for the service. The service is still in the beta stage.
