圣母大學(xué)的Mendoza商學(xué)院也是排名前十五，而且由于是天主教教會(huì )學(xué)校，校友之間的關(guān)系非常密切，就業(yè)內推薦是非常幫忙的。所以，如果考慮商科，圣母大學(xué)是可以放在選校名單里面的。那么圣母是否能夠曲線(xiàn)救國呢？抱歉，我的分析是基本不行！
外面的有消息是這么說(shuō)的：
商學(xué)院Mendoza College of Business不接受轉學(xué)，學(xué)校內部的轉學(xué)也不接受。因此，考慮轉學(xué)讀商科課程的學(xué)生就不要考慮圣母了。另外在其他學(xué)院和商科相關(guān)的課程也受到了限制，比如College of Science的轉學(xué)生也不可以申請 Science-Business and Chemistry-Business majors。
官網(wǎng)上是這樣描述的：
Upon application to Notre Dame, all students are asked to make a non-binding indication of the college or school and specific major or discipline in which they intend to major.Applicants who indicate an intent to enroll into the Mendoza College of Business will be informed at the time of admission, whether they are “preapproved” to do so at the end of their first year. If admitted but not preapproved, students will be advised that they will be free to enroll in any other college or school, but that the chances of being approved to major in business after the first year will be limited. If a student who is preapproved to major in business later decides not to do so, she or he will be free to choose a major in any other college or school at Notre Dame (assuming they have completed the appropriate prerequisite courses). Notre Dame is the first choice college for most of our applicants, and we anticipate that many who indicate a business intent on their applications will opt to enroll here without the preapproved status and seek other majors.After the first year, a small number of students who were not preapproved to major in business, will be allowed to do so. This number will include both students currently matriculated at Notre Dame as well as some students applying to Notre Dame as transfer applicants from other universities.Notre Dame offers many programs in addition to the BBA degree that afford students the opportunity to learn about business principles.
意思是，學(xué)生在申請圣母大學(xué)的時(shí)候是有選擇學(xué)院的，學(xué)院會(huì )通知學(xué)生是否“preapproved”了?！皃reapproved”的學(xué)生直接去讀就行了， 如果錄取了，但是沒(méi)有“preapproved”可以去其他學(xué)院，一年以后還有一絲機會(huì )被商學(xué)院考慮，但是非常難。如果學(xué)生進(jìn)了商學(xué)院要轉出去，那分分鐘可以走。
學(xué)院鼓勵學(xué)生一入學(xué)就說(shuō)明要讀商科獲得“preapproved”，建議如果沒(méi)有“preapproved”,就考慮其他學(xué)科吧。
一年以后，會(huì )有少部分不是“preapproved”轉入，也有一些其他學(xué)校的學(xué)生轉入。（從這里可以看出，不是不接受，但是很難。）
網(wǎng)上也有學(xué)員建議，選Mendoza商學(xué)院不定專(zhuān)業(yè)，就可以修到商科的課程，反正專(zhuān)業(yè)要等一年結束以后再定。
也有學(xué)生說(shuō)，他沒(méi)有申請Mendoza商學(xué)院，只是到他的課程顧問(wèn)那里申請獲得選修商學(xué)院課程的資格，然后經(jīng)過(guò)一年商學(xué)院基礎課程，你可以在二年級的二月樣子申請Mendoza商學(xué)院的專(zhuān)業(yè)，貌似成功了。
Also I never had to apply to Mendoza. All I had to do was get my advisor to sign off of it and then it was entered into the computer so I could get into exclusive classes for Mendoza. Also in Mendoza, you take a year of the basic classes before you declare you major amongst them.
這樣看來(lái)，圣母大學(xué)跟以前的完全不行比，有了進(jìn)步，沒(méi)有說(shuō)絕對不行，但是門(mén)開(kāi)的非常小，具體難度如何，真心不詳，但是網(wǎng)上很多的信息都說(shuō)難，難，難，所以，不宜冒險！
當然，如果真的錄取圣母但是不在Mendoza商學(xué)院，圣母在其他學(xué)院還是有一些和相關(guān)的課程的，所以去了也可以考慮，

所以，總體看下來(lái)，圣母依托他Mendoza商學(xué)院的資源，還是給了其他學(xué)院的學(xué)生不少福利，要不要直接申圣母，還是也能接受這些在其他學(xué)院讀這些專(zhuān)業(yè)或者項目，自己考慮了。
