A call from a buyer 客戶(hù)來(lái)電

I’m sorry I can’t follow you. Would you repeat it?
I couldn’t catch you. Would you speak more slowly?

Will you speak more clearly?(你能不能講清楚點(diǎn)?) Would you speak more loudly, please?

Thank you for calling. I wish we could talk longer, but I have kept my visitor waiting.

Picking up a Buyer 接客戶(hù)
AExcuse me, are you Mrs. Penn?
B: Hello! It’s a pleasure to meet you at last.

Did you have a good flight? =Did you have a nice trip?
I hope you had a nice trip. =I hope you have enjoyed your flight.

Hello! I’m David Li. Here’s my business card.
Oh, let me give you my business card before I forget.

It’s very warm, isn’t it?
Did everything go all right?
How’s your business?

I’ve enjoyed meeting you. =I’m glad to have met you.

I’m very glad to have seen you.

Have a nice day! =Have a good time!

This one is very good for 10 US dollars.(這東西絕對值10美元。)

These are slightly higher in price, but their superior quality makes them more valuable than the less expensive ones.(這些貨價(jià)稍微高了一點(diǎn),但其優(yōu)異的品質(zhì),使它們比那些便宜的貨,更有價(jià)值。)

The price is quite reasonable.

“The best compromise we can make is …”

“This is the lowest possible price.”(這已是最低價(jià)格。)
1Let’s get down to business, shall we?
2I’d like to tell you what I think about that.

5That’s too high.
6Oh, no, this is the lowest price.

30As far as the base price is concerned, we want to do it in US dollars.
43I was asked to get a price discount from your company.

45Let’s split the difference(妥協(xié), 折中) and call it 28.
46If you could come up with a really competitive price, we might be able to place a large order.
47Unless you can see your way to improve your price substantially, the chances of our closing the deal are rather slim.
