①.can't help doing sth 禁不住做某事；情不自禁做某事. 如：其中，help 有“克制、抑制”的意思，意思是：不能克制住做某件事，即“情不自禁”。例如：
She couldn't help crying when she saw her mother.當她看到母親的時(shí)候，禁不住哭了起來(lái)。
Having a lot of doubt, he can not help asking them question. 因為他有些疑問(wèn)，他禁不住向他們提問(wèn)。

He couldn't help to wash the clothes. 我不能幫忙洗衣服。

③. can't help but do= have to do sth <省略to 的不定式> ，不得不做某事(其中，but 是介詞，意為“除了這件事之外”)。
I could not but tell him about it. 我不得不告訴他這事。
She could not help but leave there. 她只好離開(kāi)那里。
He couldn't help but realize that he was wrong.他不得不承認自己錯了。
I cannot help but be sorry. 我不能不感到遺憾。
I can not help think the same. 我不禁也有同樣的想法。
