I wish I was green
綠色代表了春的希望，夏的活力，秋的果實(shí)，冬的孕育。
OUR world is made up of many different colours. But my favourite colour is green and I wish I was that colour.
In spring, flowers bloom (開(kāi)花), trees turn green, and the world comes back to life. It is green that lets people know that spring is coming. The grass is growing and with it, spring becomes full of hope.
In summer, it is the green shade from the trees that protect us from the sunshine, making us feel more energetic. People use the word "vigorous" (精力旺盛的) to describe the summer. Summer makes us feel strong.
In autumn, all things become ripe. Some people say that in autumn, all things become golden. But in my opinion, the colour gold appears after the green, and the golden fruit are the result of their green lives.

In winter, all things are sleeping, and the world is quiet. Some people say that the winter is silver. But underneath (在...的下面) the silver cover, green is creating new lives.

"Green Angel" is an honorific appellation (稱(chēng)謂) for the postman. It seems that they only pass on ordinary letters. However, the letters are full of love and care which are important for everyone. In fact, the thing they pass on is information for life.
Green also stands for peace. Peace means life can go on.
In war, soldiers are dressed in green, defending their country and people's lives. Green is used for saving people's lives.
I wish I could be green, because it symbolizes (代表) hope in spring, the forces of summer, the fruits of autumn, and the hibernation (冬眠) of winter. It is a sign of life and peace.
