從卷面情況看,相當一部分考生基本功欠扎實(shí),對詞句的音、形、義和用法掌握得不夠準確,從而影響英語(yǔ)表達。有的是單詞書(shū)寫(xiě)錯誤,比如“fruit”錯拼成“fuirt”、“smile”寫(xiě)成“smil”、“chat”的過(guò)去式寫(xiě)成“chated ”(應為chatted)、 “聊天”被寫(xiě)成“say with them”(應為talk with them)等;有的是句子時(shí)態(tài)嚴重錯誤,比如“they go to the Sunshine Nursing Home”一句中的“go”是一般現在時(shí),但這篇報道寫(xiě)的是學(xué)生已經(jīng)完成的事,應用過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)“went”;還有的是主謂不一致,單復數混亂,如“As a student volunteer, we should learn from them……”前面是“as a ”,后面又用“we”等。
行文不連貫
不少考生在寫(xiě)作時(shí)從語(yǔ)言角度考慮得多,從邏輯角度考慮得少。因此寫(xiě)出的文章雖在語(yǔ)法上表達正確,要點(diǎn)也基本齊全,但由于只是一些簡(jiǎn)單句的堆砌,缺乏連接詞或連接詞使用不當,造成上下文邏輯性不強,行文不連貫,破壞了語(yǔ)篇的流暢和整體美感,難以令閱卷老師給高分。比如“They sent some fruit to the elderly ,helped to clean the Home?!?這句話(huà),用逗號分隔顯得很突兀,用“and”把兩個(gè)謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞連起來(lái)就很有連 貫性。
邏輯欠嚴密
有些考生思維邏輯欠嚴密,把自己會(huì )寫(xiě)的東西都寫(xiě)上去或是想到哪寫(xiě)到哪,部分考生的作文甚至從頭到尾只有一個(gè)段落,既沒(méi)考慮篇章整體布局又沒(méi)緊扣主題,影響閱卷教師的快速切點(diǎn),很容易被降低檔次。且句子越多越容易出錯。比如有的考生在作文開(kāi)頭寫(xiě)道“Only the volunteers in the Olympic Games are greatful? No,the two student volunteers Li Yue and Zhang Hua who brought sunshine to the elderly are greatful also。May 1st,two grade 2 students ……” 這段話(huà)第一句純屬多余,第二三句可合并如下“On May 1st two students from Class 3,Senior 2 called Li Yue and Zhang Hua brought sunshine to the elderly?!边@樣的句子看起來(lái)不僅邏輯性嚴密,意思也很明確,容易博得閱卷老師的好感。
套話(huà)作文相對得分低
去年高考英語(yǔ)作文的一個(gè)閱卷原則是“凡套路作文不能給高分”。很多考生在考前準備英語(yǔ)書(shū)面表達時(shí) ,都會(huì )背一些套路作文,比如“As far as I am concerned,taught in both English and chinese could improve our understood……”,“every coin has two sides……”等。但由于去年的作文類(lèi)型是新聞報道,不是這些套路作文對應的議論文,因此部分考生就把一些套路作文中的經(jīng)典句型生搬硬套到去年的寫(xiě)作中,只有 50%~60%是自己寫(xiě)的內容。初一看語(yǔ)句通順、沒(méi)有語(yǔ)法錯誤,仔細比對一下就會(huì )發(fā)現其與文章主旨和要求格格不入。
另外,考生要想拿到更高檔次的分數,一定要有亮點(diǎn),三個(gè)以上為佳。比如去年的作文中可巧妙運用分詞“On arriving……;sending some fruit to……;Having been taken care of, the old people ……; Feeling moved,everyone gave them a hug when the students left in the evening?!边\用各式從句“As soon as they arrived,they……;The elderly were so satisfied that they persuaded the two volunteers to have dinner together?!边\用強調句和諺語(yǔ)“Just as a saying goes,‘It is not how much you do but what you do that counts?!笔褂帽粍?dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)、倒轉句,并適當地運用高級詞匯“to ease their loneliness and anxiety;encouraging;feel more energetic,from my personal perspective”等。
