所有的人都渴望幸福,沒(méi)有人想要悲傷與沮喪。Happiness is one aspiration all people share. No one wants to be sad and depressed.

我們都見(jiàn)過(guò)那種即使面對痛苦的生活磨煉仍然時(shí)常感到幸福的人。我并不是說(shuō)他們感覺(jué)不到悲傷和痛苦,而只是不讓這些感情占據自己的生活。以下是使幸福成為習慣要做的二十一件事:We’ve all seen people who are always happy – even amidst agonizing life trials. I’m not saying happy people don’t feel grief, sorrow or sadness; they just don’t let it overtake their life. The following are 21 things happy people make a habit of doing:

1.珍惜生命1. Appreciate Life

感謝每天早晨醒時(shí)我們還能活著(zhù)。對生活要培養一種兒童般的好奇心。關(guān)注每種生物的美。努力過(guò)好每一天。不要覺(jué)得任何事是理所當然的。別為小事情糾結不已。Be thankful that you woke up alive each morning. Develop a childlike sense of wonder towards life. Focus on the beauty of every living thing. Make the most of each day. Don’t take anything for granted. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

2.用心擇友2. Choose Friends Wisely

選擇那些幸??鞓?lè )、積極向上,與你持相同價(jià)值觀(guān)和目標的人做朋友。具有同樣道德倫理的朋友會(huì )鼓勵你去實(shí)現自己的夢(mèng)想。他們能幫你樹(shù)立自信。當你需要幫助的時(shí)候,他們總能伸出援手。Surround yourself with happy, positive people who share your values and goals. Friends that have the same ethics as you will encourage you to achieve your dreams. They help you to feel good about yourself. They are there to lend a helping hand when needed.

3.體諒他人3. Be Considerate

生活中要能包容不同性格與不同地位的人。尊重他們本來(lái)的樣子,用和善的精神和寬闊的胸懷與他們接觸。有能力時(shí)就要提供幫助,但不要試圖改變他人。努力去照亮所有與您接觸的人的生活。Accept others for who they are as well as where they are in life. Respect them for who they are. Touch them with a kind and generous spirit. Help when you are able, without trying to change the other person. Try to brighten the day of everyone you come into contact with.

4.不斷學(xué)習4. Learn Continuously

不論是事業(yè)還是興趣方面的資訊,都要保持與時(shí)俱進(jìn)。嘗試新鮮大膽并且能夠激起您興趣的事情,譬如跳舞、滑雪、沖浪或跳傘。Keep up to date with the latest news regarding your career and hobbies. Try new and daring things that has sparked your interest – such as dancing, skiing, surfing or sky-diving.

5.創(chuàng )造性地解決問(wèn)題5. Creative Problem Solving

不要沉湎于自憐。只要面臨挑戰,就應該積極尋找解決辦法。不要讓挫折影響自己的心情;相反,應該把面前的障礙看作一個(gè)能帶來(lái)積極改變的機會(huì )。要學(xué)會(huì )信任直覺(jué),這樣做幾乎永遠沒(méi)有錯。Don’t wallow in self-pity. As soon as you face a challenge get busy finding a solution. Don’t let the set backs affect your mood, instead see each new obstacle you face as an opportunity to make a positive change. Learn to trust your gut instincts – it’s almost always right.

6.做他們喜歡的事6. Do What They Love

有統計顯示,80%的人不喜歡自己的工作!難怪我們的周?chē)心敲炊嗖婚_(kāi)心的人。畢竟人的一生中,大量的時(shí)間都在工作。選擇自己喜歡的職業(yè)——就算你憎惡的工作能帶來(lái)的額外金錢(qián),那也是不值得的。不如把時(shí)間花在享受自己的愛(ài)好、追尋自己的特殊興趣上吧。Some statistics show that 80% of people dislike their jobs! No wonder there’s so many unhappy people running around. We spend a great deal of our life working. Choose a career that you enjoy – the extra money of a job you detest isn’t worth it. Make time to enjoy your hobbies and pursue special interests.

7.享受生活7. Enjoy Life

花點(diǎn)時(shí)間看看身邊的美。生活的美比工作中的美更多。停下來(lái)聞聞玫瑰的花香,帶自己所愛(ài)的人去看日出日落,在海岸漫步,在樹(shù)林里遠足。學(xué)會(huì )生活在當下,珍惜現在。不要沉浸于過(guò)去或幻想未來(lái)。Take the time to see the beauty around you. There’s more to life than work. Take time to smell the roses, watch a sunset or sunrise with a loved one, take a walk along the seashore, hike in the woods etc. Learn to live in the present moment and cherish it. Don’t live in the past or the future.

8.笑8. Laugh

對自己或者對生活不必過(guò)于認真。任何情況下都能找到幽默。多點(diǎn)自嘲吧,人沒(méi)有十全十美的。有了恰當的笑,周?chē)沫h(huán)境都會(huì )變得輕松起來(lái)。(當然,有些時(shí)候一定要嚴肅,這時(shí)再發(fā)出笑聲就不合適。)Don’t take yourself – or life to seriously. You can find humor in just about any situation. Laugh at yourself – no one’s perfect. When appropriate laugh and make light of the circumstances. (Naturally there are times that you should be serious as it would be improper to laugh.)

9.寬恕9. Forgive

懷恨在心,傷害的只有自己。為了自己心靈的平靜,原諒別人吧。自己犯了錯誤,就要坦白承認,總結教訓,然后記得原諒自己。Holding a grudge will hurt no one but you. Forgive others for your own peace of mind. When you make a mistake – own up to it – learn from it – and FORGIVE yourself.

10.感激10. Gratitude

要培養一種感激的態(tài)度。數數自己所遇的幸運事情;一個(gè)都不要遺漏,即使那些看上去微不足道的事情。對自己的家、工作,尤其是自己的家人和朋友,要心存感激。不要吝惜時(shí)間地去告訴別人,你因為他們的存在而感到幸福。Develop an attitude of gratitude. Count your blessings; All of them – even the things that seem trivial. Be grateful for your home, your work and most importantly your family and friends. Take the time to tell them that you are happy they are in your life.

11.投資人際關(guān)系11. Invest in Relationships

即使發(fā)生了沖突,也一定要讓自己所愛(ài)的人知道你愛(ài)著(zhù)他們。多花時(shí)間與家人和朋友在一起,好好培育及發(fā)展與他們的關(guān)系。切勿破壞你對他們許下的承諾。一定要對他們給予支持。Always make sure your loved ones know you love them even in times of conflict. Nurture and grow your relationships with your family and friends by making the time to spend with them. Don’t break your promises to them. Be supportive.

12.履行諾言12. Keep Their Word

誠實(shí)至上。你的每個(gè)行動(dòng)及每項決定都必須建立在誠實(shí)基礎之上。對自己、對所愛(ài)的人一定要誠實(shí)。Honesty is the best policy. Every action and decision you make should be based on honesty. Be honest with yourself and with your loved ones.

13.沉思13. Meditate

When it’s rested you will have more energy and function at a higher level. Types of meditation include yoga, hypnosis, relaxation tapes, affirmations, visualization or just sitting in complete silence. Find something you enjoy and make the time to practice daily.

14.別管別人的閑事14. Mind Their Own Business

Take care of you and your family. Don’t get overly concerned with what other people are doing or saying. Don’t get caught up with gossip or name calling. Don’t judge. Everyone has a right to live their own life the way they want to – including you.

15.樂(lè )觀(guān)態(tài)度15. Optimism

與其說(shuō)只剩下半杯水,都不如說(shuō)還有半杯水。無(wú)論在何時(shí)何地,都要看到好的一面。事實(shí)上,潛在的積極性即使難以被發(fā)現,仍然是存在的。明白沒(méi)有什么事是無(wú)緣無(wú)故發(fā)生的,盡管你未必能認識到其中的真正緣由。遠離負面情緒。當消極心理來(lái)襲時(shí),就要用積極心態(tài)把它替換掉。See the glass as half full. Find the positive side of any given situation. It’s there – even though it may be hard to find. Know that everything happens for a reason, even though you may never know what the reason is. Steer clear of negative thoughts. If a negative thought creeps in – replace it with a positive thought.

16.無(wú)條件去愛(ài)16. Love Unconditionally

無(wú)條件地接受他人的真實(shí)一面。不要對自己愛(ài)的情感加上限制。即使所愛(ài)的人未必能永遠討你的喜歡,你還是該一如既往去愛(ài)他們。Accept others for who they are. You don’t put limitations on your love. Even though you may not always like the actions of your loved ones – you continue to love them.

永不言棄。面對每個(gè)新挑戰時(shí),都要采取一種使自己更能接近目標的姿態(tài)。只要不放棄,就無(wú)謂失敗。專(zhuān)注于自己想要的,學(xué)習所需的技能,制定成功的計劃,然后采取行動(dòng)。人總是在追求對自己有價(jià)值的東西的過(guò)程中才感到最幸福。Never give up. Face each new challenge with the attitude that it will bring you one step closer to your goal. You will never fail, as long as you never give up. Focus on what you want, learn the required skills, make a plan to succeed and take action. We are always happiest while pursuing something of value to us.

18.積極主動(dòng)18. Be Proactive

接受那些不能改變的東西。幸福的人從來(lái)不將精力浪費在自己無(wú)法控制的情況上。接受自己作為一個(gè)人的局限。要尋找通過(guò)創(chuàng )造自己希望的結果來(lái)實(shí)現駕馭的途徑,而不要被動(dòng)地等待響應。Accept what can not be changed. Happy people don’t waste energy on circumstances beyond their control. Accept your limitations as a human being. Determine how you can take control by creating the outcome you desire – rather than waiting to respond.

19.照顧好自己19. Self Care

照顧好自己的心靈、身體以及健康。定期檢查身體。健康飲食,參加鍛煉,充分休息。多飲用水。用有趣和令人興奮的挑戰來(lái)不斷地激活、鍛煉大腦。Take care of your mind, body and health. Get regular medical check ups. Eat healthy and work out. Get plenty of rest. Drink lots of water. Exercise your mind by continually energizing it with interesting and exciting challenges.

20.自信20. Self Confidence

要做自己。畢竟,沒(méi)有人喜歡裝腔作勢的人。明確內在的你到底是什么樣的人——你自己究竟喜歡什么,不喜歡的什么。對真實(shí)的自己要充滿(mǎn)信心。做自己最拿手的事情,不要老懷疑自己。Don’t try to be someone that you’re not. After all no one likes a phony. Determine who you are in the inside – your own personal likes and dislikes. Be confident in who you are. Do the best you can and don’t second guess yourself.

21.承擔責任21. Take Responsibility

幸福的人深知他們對自己的生活負完全的責任。他們自己的情緒、態(tài)度、思想、情感、行動(dòng)及語(yǔ)言負責。犯了錯誤,他們總是首先承認。Happy people know and understand that they are 100% responsible for their life. They take responsibility for their moods, attitude, thoughts, feelings, actions and words. They are the first to admit when they’ve made a mistake.

對自己的幸福負責,從今天開(kāi)始。挽起袖子,培育這些習慣,并使他們成為自己生活中自然而然的一部分。將以上習慣越多地納入自己日常生活方式,那么你就越容易感到幸福。Begin today by taking responsibility for your happiness. Work on developing these habits as you own. The more you incorporate the above habits into your daily lifestyle – the happier you will be.

最重要的是:忠于自己。Most of all: BE TRUE TO YOURSELF.
