Note to the attention of all holders of TSE certificates of suitability

(24/06/11) The revised "Note for guidance on minimising the risk of transmitting animal spongiform encephalopathy agents via human and veterinary medicinal products" (EMA/410/01 Rev. 3) and the related general chapter of the European Pharmacopoeia will come into force on 1 July 2011. There is an impact on some TSE certificates of suitability and a circular letter has been sent to all TSE CEP holders, who are asked to update their dossier in compliance with the new requirements of the Note for Guidance by following the instructions listed in the circular letter.
