一、some作形容詞
1.some用于疑問(wèn)句中表示請求、邀請、建議或期望得到對方肯定的答復。例句：
Could I have some milk?(請求)我可以喝點(diǎn)牛奶嗎？
Would you like some coffee?(邀請)您想喝點(diǎn)咖啡嗎？
Will you please buy me some apples?(期望對方肯定回答)請你給我買(mǎi)些蘋(píng)果好嗎？
Didn't she give you some money?(表示反問(wèn))難道她沒(méi)有給你一些錢(qián)嗎？
2.some與單數可數名詞連用，相當于a(an),a certain,意思為"某一"，表示未知的或說(shuō)話(huà)者不特別說(shuō)明的人或物。例句：
The man is living at some place in Beijing.這個(gè)人住在北京某地。
The meeting will be held some day next week.會(huì )議將在下周某一天舉行。
3.some還可以表示贊許(美語(yǔ)中)，意思為"了不起的"、"很好的"。此外，它又含有"相當(數和量)的"之意。例句：
My husband is some cook.我丈夫的烹調手藝不錯。
That was some meal I had last night.昨天晚上我吃了一頓很好的晚餐。
My home is some distance from our school.我家離學(xué)校相當遠。
4.some與the rest,other(s)對照使用，意思為"有的"、"有些"。例句：
Some children learn English easily,and others with difficulty.有的孩子學(xué)習英語(yǔ)很輕松，而有的很困難。
二、some作副詞
1.some用于數字或few之前，相當于about，意思為"大約"。例句：
He waited some ten minutes.他等了大約10分鐘。
She has lived there for some fifty years.她住在那里大約50年了。
2.some可以修飾形容詞或副詞的比較級，此時(shí)應譯為"稍微"、"有些"。例句：
I'm feeling some what better today.今天我覺(jué)得稍微好些。
